Education Walkthrough Awarded New York State Capital Region BOCES Contract for Data-informed Professional Development

CHICAGO, Sept. 6, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Education Walkthrough, a leader in classroom walkthrough software, today announced the signing of a three-year contract with Northeastern Regional Information Center (NERIC), a division of Capital Region BOCES (Boards of Cooperative Educational Services). The partnership will enhance professional development among teachers and result in higher quality learning environments for students.

Education Walkthrough’s platform supports K-12 instructional coaches, principals, and district leaders in observing, documenting, and sharing immediate feedback with teachers. This unique tool has been used to share feedback with more than 15,000 teachers from nearly 700 school districts across 48 states. Instructional leaders leverage the data visualizations and reports to spark conversations with their teams and to identify growth opportunities for teachers leading to tailored, data-driven professional development.

What distinguishes the Education Walkthrough platform is its blend of simplicity and analytical prowess. Instructional leaders can now walk into a classroom, do the observation on their phone or tablet, then click Submit to generate a PDF of the feedback, which is immediately emailed to the teacher, all within 10 minutes. This seamless process eliminates tedious administrative tasks, propelling a swift feedback loop that accelerates classroom advancements.
